Biography
Jacquelene Barnes joined TechTown Detroit as a program manager for the growth capital team in July 2023. She is a native Detroiter, with a love for community involvement and entrepreneurship. Since childhood, Jacquelene has been passionate about entrepreneurship; she would make jewelry and other crafts to gift and sell at fairs around metro Detroit.
Jacquelene attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, graduating with a dual degree in International Studies and French Studies and two certificates in Entrepreneurship and Global Engagement. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking and learning to make new things.
